C.W. Wright Construction takes pride in being an active member of the community and participates in efforts throughout the year. Recently, the San Carlos Parks and Recreation Foundation raised money to re-vamp the playground at Burton Park. This $850,000 project was truly a community effort . C.W. Wright Construction, along with Peninsula Hauling & Demolition, donated time & labor by removing the old playground structures in preparation for its new features. This saved the Foundation over $30,000.
On October 23, 2008, Mayor Brad Lewis, the San Carlos City Council, San Carlos Parks & Recreation Commission , Parks & Recreation Foundation, and Advocates for Accessible Recreation, joined the community in officially opening the new playground, the most fully inclusive and wheelchair accessible in San Mateo County.

C.W. Wright started in the construction trade as a carpenter in 1963 in the bay area. In 1974, he formed his own San Francisco Bay Area based framing and project management construction company supervising large crews on new custom homes and tract homes. After several years, C.W. took his company to the next level as a prominent general contractor specializing in new custom homes, additions, and remodels along with light commercial throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
